If you take off all your clothes and cut them up and place them next to each other you will find that they occupy a surface of 5 m2.'

Hand-sewn patchwork quilt made up of the artist´s own garments and shoes. Slipstitch using linen thread with screen-printed text (2004). Work first shown at 11:th International Textile Triennalen, Lodz, Polen. 

"The work is a patchwork of all the garments that I need on an average day. Placed together they occupy a space measuring 2.25 m x 2.25 m =5 m2. The patches have been sewn together by hand using slipstitch so that none of the material is lost in the seams. The design that adapted the material to the human body has been obliterated and reworked into a tow-dimensional image. The contours of the body that wore the clothes are revealed in the image"
